Country Oaks began as a 9 hole facility built by the City of Thomasville in 1979 for the pleasure of it's citizens and visitors. A few years later, another 9 holes was added to complete the 18 hole layout. Country Oaks can be considered short by today's standards, but don't let the yardage fool you, as the course can test even the best golfers because of the accuracy and placement needed off the tee-box. A new 3500 square foot club house was added in 2006 to put the finishing touches on what is generally known in the immediate area as a very good value for your golf dollar. Whether it is a Saturday morning round of golf with friends, a family outing with the kids, or a business golf outing, Country Oaks is the golf course for you.
